Hello, I decided to make this thread as I am preparing to apply to temple College 2019 LVN program. I have taken the hesi, which I scored a 85, and I am currently taking a&p 1. By the time I apply, I will have 4 total points. I also live in district. I am hoping I get accepted! If you have any advice, or any experience with temple's LVN program, pls provide your input thanks.
I had 9 points. I am currently taking A&P II and Life Span/Development with 4 weeks left which would have added an additional two points for next round pending I can keep A's. But I think it really depends on who applies that round. I've heard some years 8 or higher got people in and other years where you needed at least 10. My friend applied last year with 8 and didn't get into the RN program but did get into the VN program and he loves it. I think the VN point system has changed now though.
I have a 4.0 pre-req gpa and they explained at the info night that if there are multiple people with the same number or points, they use GPA as a tiebreaker. If the applicants have the same gpa, then they use Hesi scores. I scored a 90 cumulative on my Hesi.
I hope that helps!

Thank you!
I don't know that there is an exact gpa, it depends on the average of who applies that round. At the info night I went to last month, they said this coming fall class had an average gpa of 3.8 and that there were only two people with 9pts- everyone else was 10 or higher.
