Temple College ADN Nursing - Fall 2024

Last year when I applied and they only accepted 29 people I made the alternate list but ultimately didn't end up starting. I had 10 points when I applied last year and with them accepting 35-40 this semester you should have a pretty good chance at getting in. I moved to Temple this year to get the extra point on the application and also took some additional classes in the fall to jump my GPA so fortunately I'll have 12 points on my application this year.

Yea she has it this year ! That point for living in temple district really makes a difference also somehow makes 10 points seem like nothing LOL

Don't second guess yourselves!! Last year when I had 10 points I ranked 31 out of 124 people. With them accepting 40 people this year both of you should have it in the bag as well!

I was something alright. That's for sure. I even fought with them a little bit about my GPA too LOL.
I finally just accepted it and reminded myself that everything happens for a reason. Then I decided that I was going to make my application so good they had no choice but to accept me... hence the 12 points. LOL

I just applied with 11 points. I looked at the number of available seats on the schedule for fall. It looks like they plan to accommodate 45 students. Fingers crossed.

Nice ! The competition is stiff this year haha & I saw that to they need to accommodate all of us LOL

About how long did it take for you to hear back from them last time you applied?

I got the email around mid-June.

Do we know if there is potential to graduate with honors in the program? I looked in the handbook and on the application information packet and I can't find any information about it. Does anyone have a link for info about distinguished honors? Or just any info at all? Thanks!
