We just had a test on vital signs and one question I was concerned about, was about temperature. It went like this: What time of day is your normal temperature at its highest. Choices were as follow
A.) 12:00 am - 2:00 am
B.) 4:00 am - 6:00 am
C.) 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
D.) 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
I was just a little confused since our book tells us that your temperature is at its highest point between 8:00pm and 12:00am. Any insight into this would be great.

I would have to go with the last, 5 pm to 8 pm.

Since you have to go with latest, D would be the right asnwer.

I also would have to choose D. It is lowest early in the morning and highest in the evening/night.

BMR (basal metabolism rate) is at its highest in the evening which effects core body temperature. :)

the highest is between 5-7 so D is correct one
the lowest is aroun 3am
Cool, thanx for all the replies.. Just a bit confused since our book said 8pm-12am is the highest point and it wasn't an option. Guess I got that one wrong..
