Tell me about being a Nurse Practitioner

Hi everyone,

I'm currently an LPN in RN school, two semester until I have my associates. Around me, there are plenty of school with ADN to BSN, but there are also ADN to MSN programs! I thought for awhile about being a nurse practitioner.

I don't really know too much about it, aside from seeing my kind NPs at my nursing home from time to time. I can't seem to really find any info online about it. I would like it if you, experienced nurses could tell me what it is like.

Also a related question; Will most states be moving for NPs to have their DNP, or will it stay being a masters program?

Another question, what kind of jobs can one get if they have a master's degree, aside from nurse practitioner?

Thank you. ?
