i would like to recommend to you a book called, "how doctors think" by dr. jerome groopman. it is a first rate book and really opened my eyes to some medical practices i was not aware of. i don't mean scandal sheet stuff, but how doctors diagnose and determine what data they choose. i think you would like it :)

thank you thank you and more thank yous to you dear kind nurse! i have come to realize that the usmle is only rote memorization of medical facts and not really how mders think!

I just learned last night they are actually teaching parts of this book in the pre-med program here :)
