Has anyone ever worked for a company that does at home over the phone triaging? Just curious since I found a company that allows at Home work for RN and it includes education and triaging patients. Just wondering what y'all thought about it and what the liabilities could be for a RN.

A huge liability would be to have the right licensure when servicing different states all over the nation. Would this position require you to obtain all 50 state licensure? If so, will the organization cover the cost? (It can get pretty expensive to acquire initial licensure)
That's a great thought! Thanks for the input!

I would guess that if a company was servicing the whole country they would have people in most states working for them.
Here in Australia we have a nurse on call triage service that a lot of ex ED nurses work for. It is evening and night work from home mostly trouble shooting for anxious parents with sick kids from what friends tell me.
