Tech. School?

Published

I have been thinking about going to the Central Carolina Tech. College. My husband really wants me to, but I was wondering how well employers look at RN's with an Associate degree from a Tech. College?

Also, he is in the military so we will be moving around a lot, how different are the state boards for licensing? If I get licensed in South Carolina, will say Pennsylvania approve my license to work in their facilties?

You ask many questions. First, ALL RN candiates take the same licensing exam. You general background will not matter unless you are looking at a position that requires a BSN.

Once you are licensed, you can get a license in another state by endorsement but it takes some time, of course. Hopefully, you will be able to stay in ONE place for your schooling. That will be the tough part.

Best of luck.
