For those who have taken both or looked over both, could you say that the reading comprehension for these two tests are different? That the TEAS has questions that asks you to understand vocab, and then asks you straight details from the passage. And the NET seems to concentrate only on main ideas conclusions and inferences?
I'm studying for the NET right now and I looked over the testprep site for TEAS samples, and boy was I doing badly on the basic reading section.

I have taken both the NET and TEAS, and I would have to say the hardest parts were the reading section on the NET and the science section on the TEAS. I would highly suggest for you to borrow or buy the TEAS study guide . http://www.atitesting.com/global/students/teas-study-manual.aspx
The reading section is really easy. The questions are really basic, you probably would pass without studying the material. It's the writing section that asks about vocab and punctuation. The hard stuff.
But if you take the TEAS I would suggest that you get the study guide, that way you will have a good idea what's on the test. The NET study guide is good too. The only thing about the NET guide is that they don't give long boring stories like they do on the test.
GOOD LUCK!!!
