Teas V at Weatherford College,TX

Published

Has anyone taken the Teas V at Weatherford College in Weatherford Texas. I was wondering if they took into account the Chemistry questions since chemistry is not required in the nursing program there. I took the ASI practice online test and realized i did very bad concerning all the chemistry and general science questions. I do not have time to go and take classes, has anyone found great review sites to teach you the basics?

Thanks for all the help!

The only time I picked up the book was to look at photos of viruses (very cool btw). For his class you do not need the textbook. Take it back if you can get a full refund!

Yes you DO have to know all the conversions, ...by memory. YES they will be on the test. Yes there are a lot of them. I think my test had about 7. It was at the end (he always puts the lab portion of the test at the end of his tests). You will not get an A on the test if you do not know the conversions. Memorize the King Henry Danced Merrily Down Center Main, which way to move the decimal, and the conversions from the lab exercise. They are not difficult complex equations. You can really get your points UP just by that simple thing.

He has no curve, and he has no extra credits. Showing up and participating in the labs every week is the best "extra credit" you can get in there.

I took him with A&P I. So I know what you mean!

Sherri,

It sounds to me like you have done your part. Now leave it up to the big man.

I'm studying but I'm certainly not studying like you. "eat, study, bed, period" That's a lot of dedication and your scores will reflect that. Good luck.

As far as the spelling, make sure you know the words that are actually in the book. I heard that the test has the words that are in the book.

You are so right, the grammar is definitely tricky.

Let me know how you did.

I'm scheduled to take mine on Feb 19 but I might go in earlier at WC. Sick of studying.

I see people PMing on here. I think you have to be a member for a certain time period, or post so many times before you are able to do that. Do you know? I'd like to give you my email addy, but don't want to post it on the forum. I've got some tips I could share, not so much for this test but later ones (I hadn't learned them for the first test, so I don't have a reference to that particular one).

Thanks for the tip!

Good luck to you too!

Yes. You have to have 15 posts in order to private message. But you just surpassed that.

I personally don't use this feature very often. ie: don't think it is really private. ;)

I figured it out. Thanks.

I am guessing your Micro test was today! I hope you did well!
