The only reason the exam will be hard is if you haven't been studying, but since you've been studying the practice tests and for the past few weeks you should do fine! There are videos on YouTube (just type in TEAS-V) that are great refreshers. Also, Khan Academy has a ton of information that touches many important aspects of each subject. If you search on AllNurses (Teas) you should find some helpful tips. Keep in mind the exam is changing August 14th and some schools may require a score from the newer exam if you are applying for Spring semester. Just make sure to check that way you aren't paying $90 two times.
I'm registered to take it at the school I will *hopefully* be attending so I think I should be ok. Thank you for the reply! I was scared no one would answer. I unfortunately dropped out of high school for personal reasons, and that was 8 years ago. So I pretty much had to teach myself the chemistry and physics í ½í¸‚ THAT was fun. I'm just hoping I do well.
Ah so I just left from taking the test. The reading was harder than expected, but the math was easier. Science was definetly harder than expected as I feel like the questions I got weren't covered in the ATI book. I was studying much more in depth to other things rather than what was on the test. The English I thought was fairly easy. Say a prayer for me I get my results later today!
Well hey, at least you have the experience now and know what to expect next time around! That is, unless you did phenomenal and are just psyching yourself out. Haha let me know how you did!
Don't worry, the science part can be a little tricky. Make sure to study more than just the ATI guide next time or just review the guide again. Usually they do a good job of covering everything, but sometimes they leave out a couple of things. No sense in stressing, though, what's done is done :)
I really hope you passed...Yeah, I know that test is hard. I scored a 53 on my TEAs test because I didn't study hard enough. I have a 4.0 GPA and failed miserably so I know how hard it is...So I will be taking it again next month. I am purchasing the online practice test this time so I hope I pass!

Hi everyone!
So I take the TEAS V test Saturday and I'm extremely nervous! The school I'm applying to doesn't require any pre-reqs as they are included in their program. I have my associates in medical assisting and decided to take the next step. I've been studying for the past few weeks, but I'm so nervous! All the school requires is a score of proficient or higher. Is this hard to obtain? I do really well on all the practice tests in my ATI study guide and online. I also took the PSB two months ago, and barely studied at all and failed. I hope it's not anything like that. They are now requiring the TEAS though and I've heard it's easier to pass. Can anyone give me some insight and help calm my nerves!
Thanks in advance!
