I know that there are 4 sections in the TEAS V exam and the maximum allotted time is 3 hours. Is each section 40 minutes? I can do math and science easily but reading takes a lot of my time. If i go over 40 minutes for reading, is it ok? Or is that bad strategy?

Don't quote me but I believe the Reading section is 58 minutes. I'd have to look at my book to be sure but I'm fairly confident it's 58 minutes. Each section is different. I think science is like an hour and 6 minutes and english language is like 34 minutes or something like that. HTH!

When and where will you be testing? I am very rusty on my math, so I have had to really review and practice. I plan to test on the 15th at the SRJC. I am also nervous about the timer. I tried the online practice exam from ATI but it doesn't really time you, so you never get a good idea of how you're doing.

I got the McGraw Hill TEAS V Study Guide. It has 5 practice tests in it and I felt like it did a really good job of preparing me for the test. It is almost exactly like the real thing, the way it's formatted and the material it covers.

If I remember correctly it is not 40 minutes per section. I know that Math is quite longer than the other sections. I do not remember if reading comprehension or science is the next longest, but the grammar and spelling section is the shortest I believe. The ATI study guide tells you the allotted time for each section, plus it is great book to use to study!
It's...
