TEAS V Percentile Rank Program

Published

Hi!

I was wondering if anyone has more information on this?

I took my TEAS V in last few days. Minimum for my program (LPN) is 70 (set off the older version)

I only scored a 73.3, but my "Percentile Rank Program" is 92. I am trying to understand how this can be. Is it that the test is much harder than other versions, and LPNs everywhere are getting a lower score, which raises my percentile?

Are they counting just a my specified area, or school, or group of schools with "program"? I just don't see how 73% is in 92 percentile of LPNS. If it is even close to that I may have a good chance of getting in, because I did hear the TEAS V is a harder test. If it is counting my area, or my school then I would have one of the better chances of getting accepted.

Here are my scores :) Thank you in advance!

Adjusted Individual Total Score: 73.3%

Mean-National 63.3%

Mean-Program 55.6%

Percentile Rank National- 77

Percentile Rank Program- 92

Hi,

I just took the teas test and the school I am applying to says they go by the national percentile rate for reading, math, and language usage and they said they don't calculate science so we didn't have to do that part. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS MEANS, PLEASE HELP! If I need to retake the test I will, however, if I am within the national percentile rate I don't have to retake the test.

National Percentile Rating for:

Reading is 14

Math is 32

Language is 51

My adjusted individual score for reading is 52.4%

My adjusted individual score for math is 60.0%

My adjusted individual score for language is 63.3%

Reading National Mean is 70.5% and National program 75.1%

Math National Mean is 69.0% and National program is 75.3%

Language National Mean is 63.8% and National program is 68.6%
