TEAS prep classes

I am planning on trying to get into a TEAS test prep class. How many of you have actually tried one of these? I have the book but feel like I am really clueless in science and need some practice in math. Will this type of class help me with those subjects or should I try to take a couple of adult classes? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance

I took a TEAS prep class and it really helped. Ours was over the course of 3 weeks, 2 nights a week for 3 hours. It was expensive but worth it. My advice is if you decide to take the class, don't wait to take the test. Take it ASAP while the material is fresh. Good luck!

Thank you for your response. I am taking the prep class online through the adult school where I am doing my CNA through. It was only $40 and I already have my ATI book but I am very nervous about the science portion. I did not attend high school so I have nothing to think back on.

Hi, may I ask which TEAS prep class you took? How much was it?

I need to take the TEAS test and I work best with a classroom setting.

I am taking a online class through Chula Vista Adult - same adult school I am currently doing my CNA in - and they charge $40 for registration which covers both my classes. I had already bought my ATI book but I also need someone who I can ask some questions to other than this site. I can go in once a week if I need too. I am in San Diego county and know that they have a couple of other courses like this but not sure their costs.

I am still in the CNA program and in the TEAS prep class. I plan on taking it for several months because the program I am trying to get into rarely takes anyone with anything less than a 90 in the TEAS so I need to be sure. Also some of the schools around here only take the first score.

Hi, I need to take Teas test. Is there any online study group who's doing preparation? Pls let me know. I m from Illinois n few universities required the TeAS test. I have never taken any tests like this. Any tips n help will be appreciated in advance. Thank you.
