Hi I just started looking into college and their is a good one by my house. I took my accuplacer yesterday and got a 82% on reading, 88% on language and 91% on math. I wanted to know if the teas is anything like the GED. I just took my GED a few weeks ago so everything is still fresh on my mind. My concern is reading and language. I'm not concerned about math at all. I'm concerned about reading and comprehension. And I'm concerned about language because of grammar. I take my test on Friday and wanted to know any tips. I studied a lot and took a lot of practice test. And a lot of left over GED work is still fresh in my head. I have to get a 75% and above on all 3 tests. The college took out the science part of the TEAS. Also after I pass my teas what's the next step from there?

I just took the TEAS V on April 28, 2016 and in MY opinion it is very over rated. You mentioned you just took the GED and I did too recently as well. I felt the GED was harder because we actually have to write essays for the English part. I passed the TEAS with a 73% with only 4 hours of study the night before. Not that I recommend doing that but I feel that's an ok score for someone who didn't study. I recommend watching the TEAS V videos on YouTube because they go over just what you need to know. I went over the ATI study manual but it can be overwhelming and you will not be tested on all those topics. I also purchased one of the online practice tests offered by ATI which I felt really helped with my timing and getting a feel of the actual test. I believe I even got some exact questions on the actual exam from the practice test.
Now I take my TEAS in almost 24 hours. I'm not nervous and I'm going to go in their with confidence. I believe I am going to pass and I hope I am. I scored pretty good on the accuplacer and didn't study anything. The lady at the school told me the accuplacer is a guide to the teas. I won't mind even if I pass by a little I just hope I get 80% and above on all 3 tests!
How did you do?
I got 64.3 on the reading, 80 on math and 50 on language usage. I take it again this week but still having problems with the language usage. í ½í¸©í ½í¸©í ½í¸©
