My score report said something about the national average being about 72.8%. You'll have to check with the schools you're applying to to see what score they require - the schools I'm applying to all required an 78.9% or better. I think I read that some schools go by percentile rank.
I studied 2 weeks for the test mainly so I wouldn't fall into the "I'll study later" trap. I ended up with a score in the mid 80s and in the 91st percentile. I was premed in college up until a semester before I graduated, so I took all the majority of the sciences at least 4 years ago, so that part I didn't have to worry about studying too hard for and just did a review. The science on the exam was pretty much the basics of chem, bio (food chain and cell structure), I think I had one physics question, a few basic human anatomy questions, scientific process, earth science, and that's all I can remember from that section.
English and reading were the basics: reading comphrehension, inferring things from the paragraph, sentence structure, spelling and grammer.
Math: fraction, decimals, a few geometry (pythagorean), ratios, addition, subtraction, division, etc.
I'd check with your school(s) about retaking and if they have a limit. My schools will only let you take the test twice an application period. Hope this helps!

Hello all!
I'm currently on my way to applying for nursing schools next year, and just realized that I don't know anything about the TEAS exam. I was hoping that anyone would please inform me about the exam, specifically about retaking it, the average score, and when should I begin to study for it?
On a side note, I haven't taken any of my science prerequisites yet.. So, would it be best that I wait to take them first?..since I don't have prior knowledge and wouldn't be able to answer the questions for the science part of the exam.
Thanks a bunch!
