TEAS chances

Hey all! I'm planning on signing up to take my local BOCES LPN course next December and had a few questions about the TEAS exam. My highest level of science is HS biology so I'm worried about the science section, I plan on buying study guides and studying for a year. My questions are, should a year of studying be enough, and what are the best study guides? I've already ordered ATI TEAS Secrets Study Guide.

Thank you for the information!

Hi there,

I think a year is more than enough.Generally, people study for at least week to a month and do well. I think it depends how you study and so on. I will be applying for a Generic BSN program in March, so I might take the TEAS in January. Basically, I haven't started studying as yet, I will start right after graduation with my AA in December.

Best of luck

With 1 year of study, you should do really good. I only took the Teas once and studied for 1 week. By studying, all I did was watch YouTube Teas videos. I didnt spend any money on books. There's lots of good knowledge out there for free so utilize those also.
