Pleximeter and plexor, percussion notes, resonance, hyperresonance, and dullness. Am practicing percussion notes on my husband. Will need to teach this technique of respiratory assessment for the first time to my ADN students in a lab-type environment. Any suggestions for this novice instructor would be most welcome!:kiss

Vicky - at the moment I do not have access to sound on this computer but would the rale laboratory website be of any use??? It is listed along with a couple of others over on the student nurse forum website sticky

percussion hammer...it helps students to hear the sounds loudly so they can differentiate. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Barb, I will hunt one up. Probably one of the doctors' offices in the area has one.
