Hi, do any of you know how one can get a position teaching online courses for nursing programs? How do I find out what schools have positions open for online faculty? I am an FNP and have an MSN. Thanks.

Most positions for online faculty are filled the same way that other faculty positions are filled. People respond to advertised vacancies and/or contact the school inquiring about any available positions.
Online positions may either be taught by regular full time, tenure track faculty ... or by adjunct instructors. Personally, I have a full time hospital job and teach an online course as an adjunct faculty member for a local university. I heard about the opening through a friend of mine who is a full time faculty person there. I sent them a letter of inquiry and a vitae ... did an interview ... and got the job.
You also might want to visit the websites of schools that are of interest to you. If they are looking for online faculty, they may post the availability of facutly positions on their website. At least you can get the name and address of someone to whom you could send an inquiry. I know the University of Phoenix used to have a link on their website for prospective faculty.
Good luck!
