Nope, TEAS are fine with one exception. Ensure the tea doesn't have Diphenhydramine or Dextromethorphan. Those are generally Not in TEAS, but Diphenhydramine and Dextromethorpan are abundant in cough and cold and nighttime cold elixirs and they get lots of nurses nailed because both cause a Positive. Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) is Off limits and not allowed and same applies to Dextromethorphan which is a form of amphetamine.
Herbal TEAS are fine and don't cause false positives. Things like Lavender and Theanine are great for sleep and are OK and are in most or many nighttime TEAS.
The drugs which have got more nurses in trouble while in monitoring isn't heroine, cocaine, or weed, but its actually the little things like Benadryl, Neurontin, and Dextromethorphan, The nurse is sick with a wicked sore throat and cough and takes a swig of cough syrup to alleve the symptoms and they get nailed for Benadryl and/or Dextromethorphan, or the nurse has worked for 7 days straight and their back is killing them and they take 1 Neurontin thst was formerly prescribed to them or get it from a friend and they get nailed.

This is probably a stupid question but I want to make sure I'm being safe. Anyone know if TEAS can cause a false positive for anything? I'm getting a cold and my throat is killing me- I was wanting to use the throat coat tea then wondered if it can cause a false positive like poppyseeds
