Those of you that have interviewed at TCU. Is the interview process the same as last year? Is it more like a get to know you interview? What clinical questions do they ask? Please help calm some our nerves. Thank you so much for your help.
excuse me I meant neurgeek, you...I didn't get on an alternate list, I'm just saying that everyone I know that went to TWU (6 people), went as an alternate, and yes, they too were scrambling to get things done. I was just trying to help ease your nerves about the onsite acceptance, I've also heard they have done this in the past, with canidates with exceptional credentials that they knew were applying to multiple schools.
I worked with a guy many years ago that had applied to TWU and was told he was an alternate. I remember that it was late in the summer when they contacted him to tell him he was in. He was very excited but then was scrambling to get his financial aid done. Couldn't hurt to go ahead and fill out the FAFSA even if your on the alternate list...just in case.
For everyone considering CRNA school this year, filling out a FAFSA as soon as possible is great advice. I have friends, here in Louisiana, that found out about their acceptances in May of last year which led them to fill out their FAFSA forms kinda late(after the priority processing deadline)...their financial aid was not available until October(approx. 6 weeks into the semester.) Unfortunately for them, the schools in Louisiana hold their interviews a matter of months before classes begin. For those of you that are alternates, fill out those forms. I suspect that you'll get into your desired programs once the dust settles.

Who is neuro girl? I haven't read anyone post that they were told they were an alternate at TWU. So whoever Neuro Girl is, good luck to ya. Bet you'll get in!
