TCU Fall 2020

Published

Hey guys,
I applied to Texas Christian University Traditional BSN program. I'm a transfer student. TCU is my top choice but I have also applied to TCC, Midwestern State and Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth. TCU should be sending decisions soon hopefully. If anyone is in the same boat as me waiting for TCU, post on the thread. If you applied to the TCU accelerated program you should also post. Waiting is driving me crazy!
My Stats
HESI - Cumulative Score: 87.6% Highest score is Math: 96% Lowest Score is A&P: 80%
My GPA: 4.0

Hey there! I'm currently waiting on my letter as well.

Hey, I also applied for the upcoming Fall 2020. I just received my letter (by email) that I was accepted

CONGRATS! What were your stats, do you have any classes you're still taking and are you a transfer?

A&P 1- B

A&P2- A

Micro- A

Stats- A

Patho- B-

My HESI was tragic...I got an 81 overall. I can't remember what I got in each section, all I know is I got a 68 in the A&P section LOL. Which is so bad..Considering how well I did in the actual classes.

I am currently a TCU student but I transferred in Fall 2019, so I'm still considered a transfer for this upcoming program. I've done all pre-reqs for TCU core and the nursing pre-reqs

OK. I'm currently doing

A&P 1

Micro

Nutrition

And I have to take A&P2 for Summer 1. My lowest I got for the HESI was a 74 for A&P section. Considering I took the test without having taken the class yet wasn't to bad. Every other subject was between 84-92. I'm transferring from TCC. I really hope I get in without being waitlisted. It's all in God's hands.

did you apply for the accelerated program or traditional program?

I applied for traditional (if your asking me, but I think you're not LOL).

I was asking both of y'all! LOL

I applied for the accelerated so I will graduate Fall 2021.

Oh I forgot about nutrition LOL I got an A in nutrition as well. My best score for the HESI was Math which was like a 90 something.

Have you guys heard back yet?

Nothing yet. I've heard that those who already attend TCU will get first pick?. But hopefully I'll hear something this week cause I'm tired of checking my email all day?

I hear you. I was sick of checking my emails. I got an email a month ago from advisors that decision letters come out mid-April, so maybe this week y'all will hear something ?
