TCU Fall 2021 Nursing

I applied to the traditional program, I have not yet received an admissions decision. If anyone else has, please let me know. I do know people from the accelerated have started to get theirs. Good luck!!

I got waitlisted for the accelerated program ? 

I know for the traditional program decisions go out later. So you might hear something in the next couple of weeks! Good Luck!!

I really hope you get in, don't lose hope! I am hoping we get our decisions soon. Last year the decisions came out on the 24th I believe. I am wondering how many other people applied for the traditional this year! 

Hey @Lauren Macie I applied to the TCU traditional program too. I got a email today about them doing a background check but I still haven’t got an email about if I got accepted, waitlisted or denied. Wonder if you might have got the same thing?

hi @FutureTXRN20, I am so happy to find someone else who applied! I also received the same email and thought it was odd because I haven't gotten a decision yet about admission. Hopefully it is a good sign that we got that email for a background check. If you don't mind me asking, are you currently a TCU student?

No I’m not. I’m transferring from TCC. I applied to both TCU program and TCC. I’m hoping we find out soon! I feel like if we are getting background checks it must be a good sign! What about you? 

 @FutureTXRN20 I am a TCU student, however I didn't transfer there until this year. I am really hoping we find out soon! Last year they came out around the 24th, so we will see. I know people who applied to the accelerated program have started getting their decisions!

@FutureTXRN20 Have you heard anything yet? I know usually its over email, however I have also heard of people getting decisions in the mail.

@Lauren Macie nothing yet. I asked my TCU advisor yesterday about that email she said they hadn’t sent out admissions yet.
