I don;t know what that is. I'm in the LPN - rN program there now. www.excelsior.edu
it's college network combined with excelsior college
Why aren't you just going through Excelsior?
the books come through the college network
Ah. You CAN enroll directly in Excelsior and order your books from them or www.half.com, or through here, at Amazon.
Of course, if you are taking courses to prepare you for the exams rather than doing self-study that makes sense.

My husband and I are LPN's and we recently bought the study guides from The College Network. We are interested in meeting other LPN's in Las Vegas who just started the program beginning with the prerequistes - ie: psych, sociology, etc. to start a weekly study group. We desperately need the motivation of others like ourselves. Please let us know if you are out there. Thanks!!!

HI everyone!
I am a new LPN and want to start the TCN/Indiana state Univ program at the end of the month. i have a BA in Sociology and HIstory and actually most of an MS in Management completed. I want to do the LPN to BSN track. Here are my questions;
Do I have to go through TCN? can I go through excelsior?
What is the cheapest/fastest way.
Are there similar programs?
I believe all I have to take is Statistics, Micro, A&P 1&2.
I a single mom and care for my disabled teenager and elderly parents. So conventional classes are out. I did my MS program online so I am pretty disciplined. any additional info on the best avenue would be appreciated. Has anyone else done the Indiana State Univ route?
thanks
No and yes. Go to www.excelsior.edu
Directly through Excelsior.
Not really. There are other on-line schools but Excelsior is the only one that does it entirely by examination.
Apply to Excelsior and they'll tell you what you need. They waived A&P for me since I had Bio and Micro. I'll take A&P at some point but appreciate its not holding up my acquiring my RN.
Has anyone else done the Indiana State Univ route?
I have no info on that.
