TCC Spring '09 applicants?

I plan on finishing the last of my pre-reqs this fall and applying to NS in the Spring.

Cool! What do you have left to take?

During the summer I'm taking PE, Film Appreciation (gotta have an elective) and Psych 2 - all online. Then in the Ffall I've got Micro & English 2. Thats it!! WooHoo! After I've taken these classes, and if I dont get into NS in the Spring - then I plan to take AP1 & AP2 over again. I got a C in both classes which I know looks terrible on my transcript. But I want to get the other classes all out of the way first.

Awesome! No I do not have any pre-reqs left, but I'm re-taking chem this summer bc I got a C in it (Kinda hard to understand a prof who speaks VERY poor english .) Anyways other than that I have all A's and B's and I'm currently finishing up pharm and patho too. It's a bummer they don't give extra points anymore, but maybe it will give me a head-start when we have to take those classes!

I hope to be. I'm starting my pre-reqs this summer and plan to work my azz off to be done in time for Spring 09.

Hola! Do ya' mean who is applying IN the spring??? Or who is applying in the fall to START in the spring? I think we're getting a mix of answers here!

I will be applying in the fall! I applied this past spring but didn't get accepted because I hadn't finished A&P II or Micro yet. But that's ok with me... because I'm in noooooo hurry! :chair:

I'm not sure yet what I'll do in the fall. Maybe take Spanish... and something fun like Yoga or Pilates.

I didnt know TCC had a pilates class. How cool! I love pilates (I do them at home watching the DVD). lol!

lol yea they have kickboxing too- I took that at the NW campus 2 yrs ago and my 58 yr-old instructor had me in GREAT shape! Like I'm talking a 6-pack and the works lol! Now I'm like hmmm......

And I'm not gonna lie I own the Billy Blanks Tae Bo collection so I'm right there w ya!

Hey yall. I'm new to this allnurses.com thing. I too plan on applying this fall for nursing school. I begin summer class at the end of this month for chem 1406. I have an inorganic chem class but they won't accept it so I'm having to take 1406 in order to apply. I hope so bad I get in. I currently work in a hospital now and love it. I am the newborn nursery unit sec. on the night shift. I work at night then go home and take care of my own little boy during the day. It's rough but worth it. Good luck to everyone!!
