TCC pre-Nursing students/applicants Fall 2017

Hello all! I'm creating this thread as a way for everyone to share their experiences regarding the application process! I recently took the Hesi and got an overall score of 86 however I'm wondering if there are any additional sections I need to take other than the four that are required (math, grammar, reading, vocabulary). I took mine at el centro which included the a/p section too. I'm retaking A/P 2 so that I can improve my GPA. Also applying to other schools in the area to better my chances of getting in somewhere!

Have you spoken with the health sciences counselors at the Trinity campus?

I just recently emailed them if I don't hear back soon I may call or go to the offices for more information

Nothing wrong with calling 3 times a day until you get a "real person" on the phone. Just don't leave 3 voicemails a day :)

I could only comment on things I've heard, which is often very different from what's current.

Hello. I started a thread for TCC in the school section if you want to join that thread to get more imput. Did you take a critical thinking section with your HESI? That was part of the TCC nursing application for last semester. It takes a really long time for them to email back in my experience. I think they have a information session February 1st you may have more luck getting an answer then.
