Who is applying or going through interviews at tcat 2015 fall

@wrewilliams no not exact amount but I have been comparing prices from other tcat to see but every campus is different, I wonder why so long with acceptance letter whoever received letter first PLEASE ALERT ON ALLNURSES FIRST LOL

@tarshalpn41 yes that's also my plan after LPN to head to Arkansas, so they pretty much gave you the good and bad about tcat-memphis I wonder where will we purchase our scrubs from?

@blburnett1, the only paper work you need is the packet until we receive our acceptance letters, then we have another packet. Did you turn in everything for fall classes before the deadline last year? After I read your posts I had to call Mrs. Looney to make sure they received my transcripts because she called me 2 weeks ago and asked me about them. She said if she didn't have them she would call me back. She didn't so I assumed she had them I called today to confirm.

Yes wre-williams, the cost of tuition and fees for entire program is $3036.00, the cost of books and supplies are 2656.60. Uniforms can be purchased at landau on madison as well. The patches are included in cost of tuition.

The long length of waiting time is due to the fact that September is a long time. Anything can happen between now and September so letting people know as late in the process as possible will ween out those that have changed their minds. That way its a lot less time and paper wasted. June is closer to the start date so those people who will attend would be more likely to attend than the people they would have notified in march. So much can change between that time. Hope I explained that properly.

I hope you all know that you also can get the Tennessee career center to pay for tuition. They will give you a voucher. It's definitely more to it than that. If you all don't know about it let me know and I can explain how it works

@tarshalpn41 yes I did everything 3months advance b/c I had to order my transcript offline b/c it was the summer so make a long story short I know a former student she graduated in 2013 who sister is in the program now we both applied and she contact me and ask did I get a call for interview and I was like NO so something told me to call school come to find out my transcript was staple to another student application went to interview after I called them,just found out last month the reason I didn't get accepted because it didn't come on time when in reality it was staple to another application, so if I was you I would check check and check ms looney is very sweet I will ask again to make sure b/c they be so busy with alot of paperwork.

Yes I will definitely let everyone know WHEN (lol) I receive my letter....well actually I think TCAT is all good as for as the lpn program...I know a lot of nurses where I work started there. Augustine Weston started out there....she is the director at TCAT and one of the ones who interviewed us

Yes, thank you. You are so right....she confirmed today thankfully. Im so glad I read your post. Thats what made me call her. So you will be in fall classes this year right? Because we gotra go to ARKANSAS together. A client of mine is currently a nursing student.... they really help you there.

Ok yes that do make sense now also help students who are also alternate. Do you know the colors for the scrub?

Yes yes we will BE IN CLASS TOGETHER FROM LPN TO RN LOL I'm so excited and ready to start this journey, yes I heard the same they have tutors and all teachers are nice and willing to help.

Yes, the scrubs are white first.....then it is electric blue and white jacket when you go to do clinicals....I think after that you can wear either white or the blue
