Tax Deduction

For those of you who are enrolled in EC or ISU and do Clep/Dantes/and EC for college credits towards degrees, do you know if you can claim the study material and testing fees as deductions for taxes. Not sure about EC but if doing ISU I know that financial aid is not available till Phase III. Any help would be appreciated.

For the definitive answer, check with your tax professional. I have kept track of ALL my education expenses; books, tuition, test fees, notebooks, printing, pencils, etc. It is my understanding that if it's for your education, it's deductable. That also includes the white uniforms you need for CPNE.
