Hi,
So I was told today that the non eline students' acceptance/denial letters were mailed out Friday 9/25 for Spring2016 semester. The secretary also said that the eline students will be notified via email if they make it to the second round. The second round requires an interview. I did not realize any of this. Does anyone know the timeframe? I have a part-time job, 3 kids and I'm taking Nurs 4322 and 3342. I also live in College station, so this interview is going to need some preparation. I wish we would have known this earlier on.
Thank you,
Jana

The advisor told me that interviews would only be performed IF they were unsure about accepting someone into the program. For example, if you received A's in your classes but did poorly on your HESI or vice versa. I was also told that eline students would not receive an acceptance email but it would in fact be in regular mail.
Btw...good luck!!! I, too, have applied for Spring '16 eline. Either way, we're so close to finding out!!!
Thanks so much adcinhae!!! I promised myself I wouldn't call until the end of September. I called 2 people and got 2 different answers. So I started kind of getting nervous. I have an accounting degree from TAMU, but at 19 had some "not so good" grades. My HESI score was really good, all in the high 90s. So I'm hoping they take into account when I was 19 I wasn't as mature as I am now:)
So, we could get an "acceptance" letter in the mail and no interview is needed? Praying we both get those:)
Good luck to you too!!!!!
Oh my gosh, jlively!! I just got the email invitation for the second round. This is NOT what I was told would happen. It's ok, though. Just one more hurdle and a step closer. On the bright side, interviews can be conducted via webex.
It's all good!! I got a couple of different answers too, so I started calling Crystal directly:) I wonder if the writing sample will be "why you think you are qualified" or something academic? Good luck to you! Are you taking pharmacology too? We have a test the same day as the written sample:( oh well, time to put it in high gear. Where are you located? I'm in College Station, so I'm very pleased with the WebX interviews!!!!
good luck!!
