I haven't seen a thread for the accelerated 2nd degree program at TAMU for Spring 2018, so I decided to start one! I'm definitely nervous about getting in, and I'm sure other people are too. I thought this would be a great place for us to wait it out together!
I applied to the Round Rock campus with a 3.9 GPA and a 96 on the HESI. I don't have any medical related work or volunteer experience, which is what I am most nervous about.
Feel free to post your stats and comments/concerns/etc!
Congrats on your acceptance!! I am pretty sure we will hear in the next few days. I have been obsessively checking my email and AIS waiting to hear something.
So I couldn't stand not hearing anything from TAMU and wrote Mrs. Hardi. Who BTW is the best Admissions counselor I've EVER had the pleasure of working with, anywhere. I wrote her at about 8:50AM and see replied about 10 minutes later. Anyways, this was her reply:

We are working as quickly as possible to finalize decisions and hope to have them out as soon as possible.
I know this isn't very helpful, but we are working as fast as possible!

Looks like we won't be hearing until next week, since their office closes at 5 pm. All other schools I know of have heard back. This wait is killing me.
I feel like I've been posting too much in here, but did y'all hear anything? People in another forum are getting acceptances and I haven't heard anything. I'm hoping it's for the traditional track only.
So, my application status has changed on the AIS site. It now says my app is complete and is in review. Hopefully this means things are moving along and we should hear something soon.
I actually just came to say that my application also says complete and in review as of this morning. I'm not getting my hopes up again about hearing today though, lol. Definitely progress though!
