Calling all Tampa RNs. I need advice, support, resources and well every thing else you could possible offer me. My husband is in the military, currently in Iraq, so lucky me, I get to plan our entire move all by myself. He will be returning next year and I just finished school in June of this year. I do have my license and am currently working on a PCU floor, at of course one of the best hospitals in the nation. I am excited about trying to get a job at Tampa General, I have heard alot of good stuff about it. However as I see, that isnt going to be my concern, what is, is finding a private school for my child and finding a home or some sort of apartment that has three bedrooms in it, that wont cost 2500/month. I prefer a Christian private school, with obviously no sex offenders, crime, and all that sick stuff around it. I wouldnt mind a public school, however I dont know too much about that area and my son is so far advance I hate for him to fall behind. I would also love it if someone could enlighten me more about the hospital, computer system, pay rate, etc. If anyone has anything ot share or is currently working there, I would be greatly appreciative to hear from you.

Try Manatee County but the rent will not be that much lower. Has easy access to I75 then to the Crosstown Expressway. You might want to look in Brabdon.
