Tampa Galen RN Job Prospects

Published

Im thinking of attending Galen's lpn to rn program.

A little background: my husband is in the army & preparing to deploy for a year next month. This is the perfect time for me to head back to school, so we can finally have some babies when he returns. However, there are some complications. He will not return to tampa as he has been reassigned to another duty station (Ive just decided to stay in tampa til he returns) so I do not want a program that will keep me from being close to him when he gets back. And you may ask why not go to school where he'll be stationed: theres no guarantee he will be at that base very long, he may receive orders again.

Galen's program is 15 months, which i dont mind. My concerns are whether graduates are having difficulty finding jobs based on the school not being accredited by the nln or ccne? Please fill me in. I really want to accomplish my rn while the hubby is gone, if anyone else has other suggestions let me know.
