Taking the TEAS test in August

Hello all,

I am starting to study for the test that I am taking in the beginning of August. I am already overwhelmed. I figured I would start with my strongest which is math and work my way down to reading which I believe to be my weakest. Any tips on how to study for the reading section?

I did noticed that some took the practiced test before studying to see where they are. That seems like a good idea that I am going to try. Any other advice would be helpful and appreciated.

I am taking the TEAS in August as well. A month from today to be exact:nailbiting: I am using the ATI book as well as utilizing all online resources. Unfortunately I also have to take the HESI (applying to more than one program) and am waiting till September to take that one. Taking the practice test first is a good idea...know your weaknesses. Devote time each day to studying and practice.

If I remember right, you are allowed to take each of the two practice tests once with ATI. Kinda foney I know. I studied the practice guide book and took the tests on each subject in the book once, then went and took one of the online exams. After that I went back over the areas I needed to improve, doing the same tests within the book, and then took the second test online. That seemed to work well for me. I know it's kind of redundant considering the study guide is a condensed version of all the things you need to know anyway, but I also took notes while reading it. Just the act of writing things down helped me remeber them, in fact, I don't think I ever went back and read my own notes and I did pretty darn good on the TEAS.
