Taking physiology and microbiology in the same semester? Crazy??

my nursing counselor worked with my on my student education plan a few days ago. she recommends taking chemistry this summer (3 days a week for 6 weeks) and taking anatomy, english and the nursing assistant (cna) classes this fall, then taking physiology and microbiology next spring (12') to apply for the nursing program next fall. is physio and micro too much to take in the same semester? i really want to do good in these classes, however i also want to at least have my cna license to start working as a cna. should i keep this suggested schedule or change it to taking anatomy and physio together and taking micro with the cna classes in the spring of 2012? what do you recommend?

it always depend on how motivated you are to study. anatomy is the study of the structures of body parts and their relationships to one another while the physiology is the study of the functions of the body. so, both classes work best because you can relate each class to one another. and, it will be easier for you to understand, but be prepared for this option because these are the class need to give more time to study and reading for it's all about memorization and understanding on the functions of the body. i will take micro with cna; still both are hard class, but if you give your effort you will get a high grade. i hope it will help you.

I will be taking Phys and Micro this fall together so I'll let you know, LOL. I am taking the same professor for phys that is currently teaching me anatomy so I feel very confident in phys, although I know it will be tougher than anatomy. I agree with the above statement that really has to do with how much time you have and are willing to devote to each class. Anything is doable as long as you put in the needed effort!
