Taking the NLE 10 years after graduation

Published

Hello,

I finished my BSN in 2010 and I am contemplating taking the Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam in 2020. I never took the boards because my family at that time moved to another country. Is this still possible? If so, how can I best prepare for the exam? I would appreciate your insight into this.

Thank you!

hello 2022 now and I hope this thread is still active. I graduated in 2013 and have not taken the board and I'm planning to take it by the end of this year or next year. I admire you @MyMia for your determination to pursue nursing despite the different path you had taken before it but, I really can't afford to stop working for a year to focus on just reviewing. Do you guys have any recommendations for studying tips or like ebooks or any resources I can begin with so that I don't get overwhelmed by work and studying all at the same time? In short, how to start??

Hi everyone! I hope this is still active and someone on this thread can give me some much needed info..

I graduated 2008 but never took the board exam. Now I am planning to take the NLE. Main problem is, I no longer have copies of my cases..

For those of you who also misplaced/lost the copies of their cases, were you able to find out how to deal with this problem? Were you able to apply for NLE?

hoping for a respone ??

Hi @JETTIE do you still have copies of your cases?
I misplaced mine so I’m not sure what to do ?

Hi @Jewel and @Ziline were you able to pursue your plan of taking the NLE? How did you comply with the requirements of summary of cases?

I also misplaced my cases. Graduated 2008 and never took NLE

hoping for a response

Hi everyone.

Just hoping to get some information from here. I am a graduate of BSN 08. Took the Board exam twice, and failed twice. Now I wanted to have a retake. I got married and all. I just wanted to know where is the right place to know everything I need to know, like requirements, and steps need to be done so I can proceed? Thank you.

Same here. Any advice on how we can apply to take the exam? If all cases were lost?

Hi everyone. I need your help. My sister graduated in 2012- BSN. She failed the NLE once and didn’t retake it. Now, she’s working as a cashier. Life’s been treating her hard. She wants to retake her NLE but the question is … does she need to go back to school to study the whole program? Or does she need to just review and look for review centers in the Philippines? Does PRC regulations need some type of documentation that my sister have gone through remedial classes? I would really appreciate your responses here. Thank you.

Hi, @Mel.ea I still have mine. My friend who just passed the board last year mentioned that it has no expiration but I don't know what will happen if you lose it. Also, one of her co-reviewer is a graduate from the '90s around 1995 if I remember it right and that person was able to pass. Just not sure if she/he still has the cases. I suggest you reach out to PRC. Hopefully, in God's will I can pass this year and all of us for sure. AJA!

Hi Everyone,

Is this thread still active? I am trying to get some information and assistance as I lost also my clinical cases after I graduated last 2011 and I haven't taken the exam yet. I'm not able to submit my application for the Nursing Board exam as the main requirement is the original copy of clinical cases.

Hope someone can help me here. Thank you in advance. God Bless.
