Taking NCLEX-PN on Wednesday, November 20th---last minute tips?

Published

Hey guys!

I've been a long time lurker and I just want to start this off by saying THANK YOU, all the information I've read here have been really helpful.

Okay, so after about nearly a year of graduating, I'm finally taking my NCLEX and the anxiety/nervousness is killing me! I used Saunders 5th edition and ATI for my tools of the trade, hopefully that is sufficient enough!

I don't know if it's just me, but I just can't shake off this feeling that no matter how much information I've covered (I've reviewed pretty much most of the physiological systems, and just a little bit of pharm) I feel like as if I haven't covered enough!

Well since my test is only a couple days away, I want to use my time wisely. What do you guys suggest I invest my time on? Should I spend the rest of my time doing questions? Review more content? Memorize a ton of medications? Any last minute tips? I need some form of direction!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks ahead of time!

Do you have the study guide , it's really great. I used that and Hurst. I took mine on Saturday I got the good poop, but I'm still waiting on the board. Pray, and everything will be fine.

Congratulations!

Which study guide are you referring to?

I just recently went back on random topics that confused me, my test is tomorrow! Any tips?

Im a long time lurker as well(lol)never thought n a million years I would be on here asking for advice until reality hit when I failed my N Clex exam n October 2013.I asked the same questions and each time I got a different answer.I tried to go back and read ALL my ATI books but after reading 2 books and 5 to go I got bored and overwhelmed plus it was very time consuming.I received a great study guide from someone and I love it its straight to the point ,I also decided to practice more questions and read rationals.I can tell you 1 advice that I thought was helpful and it was from my nurse I work with she said you did enough reading in school its time for you to stop reading and start doing questions/rationals

Good luck to you tomorrow !
