Hello all! i graduated the LPN program in september of 11', and am just getting around to taking my nclex exam due to family issues. im hearing such scary things of my classmates who have failed and how hard it is with pharm questions and select all that apply questions. ive been studying saunders cd and kaplan online questions and am realizing i have forgotten alot of stuff. esp pharm!! can anyone please give me some pointers on what is most effective for studying esp with meds and side effects..thank u so much guys!!! i need it!!

You may need to start with content if you forgot some stuff. Once strong with that you can use your critical thinking and test taking strategy .

The saunders book is excellent for content. Read over each chapter & do the questions. That will help you a lot. The pharm sections are helpful too. I took the NCLEX on April 13th, and I used saunders, kaplan qtrainer, nscbn 3-week course, and i read the all nurses study guide. Passed in 85 questions :-) The exam is really testing to see your ability to critically think. Good luck!
