taking the NCLEX In Nebraska or California

Please take the time to do some reading here on the International Forum, as there is much information that you need, and you do not even know about.

1. You are not applying to take the NCLEX exam, you will be applying for licensure as an RN. It is actually impossible to be able to apply directly for the NCLEX exam.

2. The NCLEX exam is the final step in the licensing procedure, it is far from the only one.

3. Your issue is that you are in Texas, anfd I assume are planning to work there. You are going to need to get a license there, which means that you need to go thru their required procedures, or you will not be working there. A license from another state will not work.

4. And they have only one extra process from CA, and that is the CES, a credentials eval done by CGFNS. That is required for intial licensure as well an endorsement.

5. Highly recommend that you read the Primer that is found on the International Forum, where I am moving this thread to as well since it is specific to working in the US and has nothing to do with working in the Philippines.
