taking the nclex 2 days from now

Published

hi everyone! i just registered here but it's been a habit to drop by every time i have uncertainties and things that have to confirm. such a great site! i'll be taking the NCLEX-RN here in nyc on monday. glad to say that i'm a little calm compared to the prior days though i wont say i'm not very confident that i've covered and digested all of the needed topics. anyway, what else is there to consider than to just be positive and believe in myself that with all the preparation, investment and prayers i've deispensed for this journey is well...enough :) what a ride. please pray for me!! and lastly, are there any more tips? thank you and i hope everyone's having a good day so far!!! :cat:

Good luck! You've totally got this. I'm doing mine in a few days in California!

Just remember to go slow with each question, especially on the first 10 which are arguably the most important as it will determine how much wiggle room you have on the test.

One of the regulars on this site said to assess before implement unless in distress. Also acute > chronic.

When all else fails in a question and you have all implementations, think about doing one thing before you leave. What will help the patient the most but that's also not jumping the gun?

For me - I found elimination to be the best for looking at answers. My initial q bank scores for Kaplan were low since I just picked an answer instead of eliminating.

Good luck! I ditto the above poster!
