Hi all,
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum - I couldn't find a relevant one. I have been taking prerequisites for admittance to an accelerated nursing program (hopefully!) for about 2 years now, at BMCC in NYC. I've had to take courses slowly because I also work full-time. I saw an option for a 7-week summer semester course for BIO426, second semester of Anatomy & Physiology (I've already taken BIO425). It appealed to me because, well, you're done in 7 WEEKS! Then I can move on to micro in the fall. The course is four days a week, 3 hours a day (in the evenings).
Has anyone taken A&P in these jam-packed semesters format? I got an A in A&P1, but I really worked for it and found it a challenge. I am nervous that with my job I won't have enough time to study and will fall behind. I have about an hour a day to study at the job and would have weekends off. I also can't afford to drop halfway through and only get half my tuition refunded. So if I'm in, I'm in, there's no turning back.
Let me know if you think this is a smart idea!
Thanks all.
