Tait-An Update :)

Nurses General Nursing

It's been some time since I have been on the AN site, but as a member for quite some time now I thought I might stop by and offer a little update to those staff and members who might be interested :)

So I switched to day shift (which is crazy since I SWORE I would never leave nights) and I love it! There are definitely things I don't enjoy, like losing my computer spot all the time and crazy discharge days, but overall I am having a lot of fun learning how to navigate the day and keep everyone moving forward!

Another "little" update, my husband and I have finally managed to get (and stay) pregnant! We are currently 17 weeks 3 days today and my morning sickness has finally settled down! Here is a little peek at our 12 week U/S:

Next U/S is February 16th and we should be able to get a gender check! I am partial to a girl, but will take anything with all it's limbs and a healthy little body. So far all of our labs have come back normal and without signs of defects! It is amazing how much of a journey this has been!

Hope everyone is well!

Love,

Tait

PS. I forgot to mention after many months of ICU and nursing home care my Grandmother is finally coming off her vent soon! They are currently discussing removing her trach and sending her home!
