I know you want to check your lytes closely with T wave alterations, definately K+ and magnesium, these are the usual culprits for T wave abnormalities, I did a quick search and found a few good site you could search

T wave alternans (TWA) is described as a highly specific morphologic EKG finding and is associated with increased mortality in CHF patients. It also may ID those most likely to beneifit from an implanted defib. A growing number of studies has demonstrated that TWA is a predictor of ventricular arrhythmias.
