Anyone work for for Sutter VNA hospice? I searched the threads, but am looking for general info. Is it a good place to work??? I have an interview coming up VERY soon. What should I ask at the interview? What kinds of questions will they ask me??? I am nervous, because I have small children and I keep reading about hospice on call and working day/night. I can't do that. I am looking for regular hours. I really would like to try hospice, but I have some boundaries with my personal life. I know a hospice affiliated with the hospital I work for does not do call (they have an on call nurse for this) but they only offer variable shifts (this is not Sutter, but a competitor health system), which also doesn't work well for me, because of having kids. I am hopeful I can find a good fit, but don't know much about Sutter VNA/ hospice. I'm both excited and nervous. The pay is waaaay below I make now. HUGE paycut. I might be okay with this if the position is team oriented and fits with my family's needs.Thanks for any feedback you may have.
