You are being asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Jennifer Van Kempen, a graduate student at DePaul University as a requirement to obtain her Master's degree. This research is being supervised by her faculty advisor, Matthew Sorenson. We are asking you to participate because we are trying to learn more about the use and perceived efficacy of coping strategies among oncology nurses working with an adult population. This study will take about 10-15 minutes of your time. If you agree to be in this study, you will be asked to fill out a survey. The survey will include questions about the degree of use and the perceived effectiveness of 60 cognitive and behavioral coping strategies. You can choose not to participate. There will be no negative consequences if you decide not to participate or change your mind later. There are no negative risks associated with this survey.

If you have questions about this study, please contact Jennifer Van Kempen at (708) 278-7878 or [email protected], or Matthew Sorenson, (773) 325-1887. If you have questions about your rights as a research subject, you may contact Susan Loess-Perez, DePaul University's Director of Research Protections at 312-362-7593 or by email at [email protected]. hello..

I am from Phillipines,

is it possible that a research group here can actually use the JALOWIEC coping scale?

if ever, it needs permission, where can the group ask for its permission, without paying for the tool..

Unfortunately rplf, there are no free uses of the jalowiec coping scale. Rights to thencpping scale must be purchased fr it's creator, Anne jalowiec. Hope this helps
