After some shadowing at the local hospital, i've decided that I'm in love with Operating Room nursing. In the US, we have a med/surg floor. Is it like that in the UK? Do they have OR nurses there? What are they called? I looked at the RCN website and I couldn't find anything Anyone have any good websites for me?

over here in the UK they are 2 seperate specialities although saying that due to usual national bed shortage med patients usually end up being nursed on surgical wards. Yes we have OR nurses or theatre nurses. Here is a web site which may help
