Has anyone applied to SUNY RCC for nursing Spring 2023? I've seen forums for other semester but not one for this upcoming deadline and decided to make one.

Hii, I applied to the school and got accepted last week but I have not applied to the nursing program yet. I’m waiting on RCC to evaluate my transcript to determine if I have to take the placement test or not.

I have applied . Has anyone  taken the TEAS exam yet ?

Yes , I took it and scored in the proficient level. But I want to take it again to get a higher score.

I applied to the school, I'm not sure if my transcripts were evaluated yet. I haven't taken my TEAS yet.

My transcript was evaluated about a week ago. Check your my RCC portal under degree audit for status . It will also tell you if you been exempt for the placement test as well.

Does anyone know if RCC has a a limit on how many times you can take the TEAS if you do not get proficient? Also was wondering if I can retake it right away or will RCC make me wait a certain amount of days before retaking it?

I asked the school this question a few weeks ago actually, they said they have no limit on the amount of times you take it or waiting period on the TEAS.

There is no limit on TEAS and I’m not sure if you take it at the facility if there is a wait time,  but if you take it through ATI (remote proctored) is two weeks before you can take it again.
