SUNY Downstate FNP application fall 2020

Hi! Did anyone apply to downstate's FNP program fall of 2020, and if yes, were you called for an interview?

Hi all. I was just called and given an interview date! Submitted my application a week after it was open.

How was your interview?

Hi. I was very anxious but the interview was good. It was a phone interview. Asked questions like why I’m the best candidate and also why is becoming an NP important to me. I have to note I’m applying for the women’s health NP were the spots are fewer so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

I’m a re-applicant. I applied last year and got waitlisted. I applied super early this year (first week of November). In February I got an email saying that my application has been forwarded to the committee for review. I still didn’t get a call or email to schedule an interview. Have a lot of you heard back or interviewed yet?

I have not heard anything since the interview and there has been no status changes since.I am also a RE applicant (applied in January) and did not get accepted last year.I’m hoping I get in.

Hi all! I got accepted to the FNP program. I applied Sept 19th and interviewed last Tuesday. The interview was a group interview via zoom with the program’s director and two other people.

I also have an interview next Monday & I’m scheduled to work that day as well. Do they make u write an essay after the interview?
