I'm at Downstate now finishing my first semester. Downstate only looks at your math and reading TEAS score (I have a 95% total score), and your GPA matters, I had similar stats and ended up getting in off the waitlist (there were a lot of people who were accepted off the waitlist this year). It's hard to say exactly what they're looking for since every applicant pool brings different stats - get good recommendations, write a strong essay and take pathophysiology if you can (they'll give you credit for it and it will make your first semester a lot less stressful). Their applicant pool changes from year to year--some people apply twice before getting in and some get in on the first try. Hope that helps.

Hey there!
I want to apply to Downstate soon and wanted to know the GPA and TEAS scores of the recent accepted students. I have a 3.6 overall GPA and a 3.5 science GPA. I volunteer, take care of children and do psych research. Do those that got accepted think i have a chance?
