Stars I understand not wanting to have to look for a new stylist, I've had mine for a few years even after he switched locations

Tweety glad that the work day wasn't too busy

Was out early yesterday for bird watching but saw relatively few birds.  Then came home and made the Halloween Chex mix and then had lunch with dad

Then went to the potluck with the gay group.  Another pretty good turnout.  Was surprised that the majority of people there were in costume, some quite creative.  Had a chance to chat with a fair number of people although not as many as I would have liked

Today will be a fast day as I got a bit carried away at the potluck.  Will start a crock pot meatloaf before church, will also try and get the laundry done if I have time. This evening I'm going to be going to a cat cafe with the over 50 group, though it looks like only the organizer and myself have signed up

Going to be another cool day in the low 60s

High temp today will be 59 degrees. 😊 Turtleneck weather! It looked like it wanted to rain at 8:30 AM. I went back to bed after I fed Momo. My intention was to wake up earlier than I usually do, and starting in to work on putting those dang clean, folded clothes away. BUT, lacking the energy or interest, I went back to bed, got cozy and went back to sleep. (Luxury!)

This morning's wake-up song in my head was by Jesse Coulter, from way back when: "I'm not Lisa/ My name is Julie /Lisa left you/ a long time ago...." Sad country song that was a big hit. It always amazes me what my brain comes up with as I wake up. Strange!

I don't have any firm, actual plans for today. I don't want to go out anywhere. I may start the search in my old bedroom for the house keys with all the smaller store cards on the key ring. I also have not located my driver's license yet. 

Not sure if BiL will come back over today to finish putting the roofing on the pergola.  I do have dishes to do, as usual. Ho-hum.

I hope this is a quiet day! I'm adding one Ex. Str. Tylenol to Nannie's AM meds to keep her calm...and maybe encourage a nap!

Wonder if SiL will text me and tell me which day this week she will take Nannie off for the afternoon. Tuesday would be good. Wednesday acceptable, although I have no appt on that day. And Thursday I have to take Momo for her shot, but that is Chatty CG's day, so it's covered. One day (I hope soon) I will be able to be spontaneous with my tasks and outings; ie not have to worry about someone staying here with Nannie if I decide to go out and about. Ah me, oh well. At the very LEAST the Senior Daycare Center SHOULD get an opening for Nannie two days a week. Should, dammit! For cryin' out loud, it's been too long without hearing from them that there is an opening.

Anyway, that's all for now. I'm sure I could come up with something to grouse about, but I'm tired of being ill-tempered and complaining. I would like to have some FABULOUS NEWS to impart to y'all, but....as of this moment.....crickets!

As of this very moment, Nannie has spent TWO HOURS arranging and rearranging her shoulder wrap, folding and rolling the ends of it; covering, then uncovering the pattern on her outer jersey; she also pulls and pushes at her her inner and outer jersey sleeves.....busy as a bee, non-stop! And QUIET! Sometimes she aligns patterns, sometimes it is according to colors, then it is the wrists, then at the waist. It is truly amazing to see how contented she is doing all that. Well, I don't know about contented because she just got into a wrestling match with one side of her shoulder-wrap. But it sure keeps her occupied! 🙄
