Good morning.
Joe sorry you can't see J. Hope you have a good day.
Stars, I sometimes worry about my lack of focus and forgetfulness. No one in my family had dementia that I know of. But who knew withodern problems what we can get.
Working today still with my orientee.. So far so good.
Went all the to my car to get my phone but it turns out it slipped put of my pocket in a patient room. DOH
?????? Happy May 1st! When I was knee-high to a grasshopper, we used to gather wildflowers and make them into little bouquets to bring to the little old ladies in our neighborhood. I might have been like 5 or 6 years old then, that was.....a waaaaaay long time ago!
The temps are nice, without too much humidity, in the low 80's. We had thunderstorms predicted, but they apparently went around us; there was not a drop of rain, no noise from the clouds, not even too many clouds.
It's been a day....not long, not short, not good or bad. Just a day. We watched the ballgame that our team lost, we had pizza delivered, now we are watching American Idol. There are, IMHO, three contestants who should win: Nicola, Jay, and Christian. I can't decide between them, but I also think it's possible that Hunter-Girl (country singer) could win. But, since I don't call in a vote, I'll just wait to see who gets voted out at the end of the show.
I was going to do some laundry and cleaning today, but Ppfftt, I didn't, and SO WHAT! Guess I'll do it tomorrow. [maybe]
That's about it.

Ado that is a tricky question. Hopefully these years before retirement fly by for you
Dianah I'm not really sure. Certainly not hospital nursing, not going back to that. Thought about research nursing, given my background, but not sure how many jobs there are or what the working conditions are like. Or informatics, though that would require more education. Case management I fear brings out my anxious controlling side, given all the stuff that needs managing
NJ22 that can also be an issue, knowing what you're supposed to do (and often the answer is "too much")
Tweety my BIL tried that but decided to go back to ICU, he found inpatient case management too much work
Stars I've had that same experience, if I don't do something right away or write it down right away, I tend to forget
Was a quieter day yesterday. Did get out bird watching before the heavier rains came. Came home and did some cooking. After the had passed that evening went for a walk. Was calmer than yesterday, perhaps taking the extra day off made me nervous? Not sure
Have laundry this morning, then church where I will serve as assisting minister. J's allergies are acting up so we won't get together, he'd like to wait a bit longer too to make sure I'm clear of Covid. Should be another fairly quiet day. Might sign into the work computer to check emails, just in case I got a bunch on Friday
Going to be in the upper 50s today, cooler but no rain
