Good morning!
We're having weather in the 70's, maybe 80 today so it's gorgeous. It might get "colder" next week down to the 50's.
Joe, hope you have a good day and enjoy "A Chorus Line". I've never seen that one.
Ado, I agree that sometimes making your own stuff is better and cheaper. Today I'm going to make some Japanese style hot chili oil. I might try some whole grain pizza dough recipe from "Forks Over Knives". But sometimes just buying the crust and sauce is easier even if more expensive.
I had an uneventful day yesterday. I went to hot yoga and grocery shopping to two stores. I made some Venezuelan arepas that were really good and easy to make. Ate them with some blacks beans.
Off today. Nothing going on. Have some things to cook and will watch a movie and go to the gym.
I'm tired from the time change and might nap.
Good Afternoon~
Rainy, in the upper 40's, and blah.
Had to go to the pharmacy for hubby....he doesn't have a current driver's license (!!) so he can't show his old one for ID purposes, even though they know who he is....it has to be scanned before they can sell him Verio test strips. Because we know how dangerous test strips are if 'abused!' ?
The pharmacist asked me if he was "home from camp"....I said, "He never went." Her response was " ?."
Anyway, he has a Dr's appt tomorrow, and 'we' don't know what time it is scheduled for. Might be a good thing to know, eh? Guess SOMEBODY is going to have to call them in the morning to see what time he has to be there. And hopefully after that he can see what he has to do to get an updated driver's license, and GET IT! (dammit!)
Nannie is conked out. Nice.
Hubby is in bed resting again; said to get him up around 4:30 PM.
Guess I'll scroll around here, and then maybe do some crossword puzzles, which keep me from going entirely bananas.

Hopefully everyone set their clocks ahead
Hi Tweety
Stars 40s with rain is pretty unpleasant
NJ22 I rarely see bald eagles here, and probably have never seen grebes or buffleheads
Ado that's still cool you make your own vanilla extract
Yesterday was as busy as expected. At church almost an hour early to prepare for the funeral, then the funeral, then some clean up thereafter. Almost three hours in total. But everything went very well
Met dad for lunch, then ran a few errands and did the cooking for the week. Legs were too sore from all that standing to exercise. Watched part of Svengoolie but skipped most as I wanted to get to bed early due to setting the clocks ahead
Used to bother me when weekends were busy, felt I needed them to be slow. But now I realize that I prefer to be at least a little busy, even on weekends
Little sleepy but not bad considering the time change. Will be a bit busy this weekend too. Ushering again at church today. Meeting J to see A Chorus Line. His stomach is acting up so we won't meet for lunch beforehand
Will be in the upper 30s today with a wintry mix
